Accelerate Behavioral Health provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy to children with special needs in Orlando Florida and the surrounding areas. ALEXIS SIMON-LACHANCE, M.A., BCBA - ABA DIRECTOR
Alexis Simon-LaChance is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has her Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Central Florida and her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. She started working as a behavior technician in 2013 and in that time completed her RBT coursework, studied at FIT to become certified as a BCaBA, then eventually took BCBA coursework. Her experience ranges from people ages 2-23 and she has worked with individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, Angelman Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, ADHD, and Epilepsy. Alexis has a strong interest in conducting behavioral programs for independent living skills, functional communication, transition planning, and social skills.
MARY STRITTMAN, M.S., BCBA - BCBA
Mary Strittman is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She completed her BACB course sequence through Florida Institute of Technology and her Master’s degree in General Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. Mary has experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, Down syndrome, ADHD, and Epilepsy, and is passionate about teaching individuals to use functional communication, whether in the form of vocals, signs, or picture exchange systems. Other areas of interest include teaching social skills, working on functional behaviors in the community setting, and the dissemination of behavior analysis.
KASI RUBIN, M.S., HSA - OPERATIONS MANAGER
Kasi Rubin is an experienced and dedicated healthcare management professional. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and immediately went on to the University of Central Florida where she obtained her M.S. in Health Services Administration. Kasi's passion lies in continuity of care. It is with her knowledge and background in both the clinical and administrative aspects of healthcare delivery, that's she hopes to transform the way people view and approach healthcare delivery. Kasi strongly believes that continuity of care coupled with process improvement initiatives is the key to achieving positive clinical outcomes. Kasi will continue to dedicate herself to learning strategies and delving into what patient's and their families feel would make their clinical experiences more positive in order to ensure that the utmost levels of care are achieved.
